A generative Processing sketch exploring the homing behaviors of particles. Particles are initially arranged in concentric circles and are then displaced onto a plane through mouse interaction. Each particle is influenced by a force that pulls it back to its original birth position, or “home.” When the particles are underdamped, oscillations occur, resulting in organic, fluid-like motion.
